2025 School Year Begins Soon! Key Dates and Information

Dear iLEAD Lancaster Families,

We hope that you have been enjoying the summer and have made many happy memories. We are looking forward to having all of our returning and new learners on campus on Tuesday, August 12, for the first day of school! Below are a few important dates to mark on your calendar. As always, we are here to support you and your child, so please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. 

School Hours

TK:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 1:15 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Grades K-8:

• Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM – 3:05 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Important Dates to Remember

Meet the Facilitator Night: Monday, August 11, at 5:00-6:30 PM

At our Meet the Facilitator Night, you’ll have a chance to meet your child’s facilitator (teacher), learn about upcoming events, and more. 

First Day of School: Tuesday, August 12

School doors will open at 7:45 AM, with school beginning at 8:30 AM. Please click here for drop-off and pick-up procedures.

School Closed for Labor Day: Monday, September 1

Minimum Day and TK-8 Assessments: Thursday, September 11

Please mark your calendar for a minimum day on Thursday, September 11. On minimum days, learners are dismissed at the same time they are released on Fridays (12:00 PM).

We will administer TK-8 assessments on Thursday, September 11, and Friday, September 12. Stay tuned for more information.

Minimum Day and Back to School Night: Monday, September 15, at 5:00-6:30

Please mark your calendar for a minimum day on Monday, September 15. On minimum days, learners are dismissed at the same time they are released on Fridays (12:00 PM).

That evening, please plan to join us at 5:00-6:30 for Back to School Night. This event will help you know what to expect throughout the year, what project-based learning looks like in the classroom, the various types of assessments we use, school culture, and much more. It is a very informative evening where valuable information will be given. We look forward to seeing you there!

Minimum Day and Individualized Learning Plans: Thursday, September 25

Please mark your calendar for a minimum day on Thursday, September 25. On minimum days, learners are dismissed at the same time they are released on Fridays (12:00 PM).

We will host Individualized Learning Plans Thursday, September 25, and Friday, September 26. Stay tuned for more information.

Communication

ParentSquare

Please make sure that you have activated your ParentSquare account. Important reminders and information regarding school emergencies and events will be relayed through this system. ParentSquare emails home and will also send notifications to your phone if you download the app: http://parentsquare.com/signin.

Monday Message, Weekly Updates, and School Website

The Monday Message is sent out each week to all of our families. It includes articles, upcoming events, pictures of learners, updates, and other pertinent information regarding school activities. 

Weekly updates are sent out to you from your child’s facilitator and contain very important information regarding classroom instruction and other imperative information. 

You can subscribe to the Monday Message by entering your email in our Monday Message sign-up window on our website: ileadlancaster.org.

Social Media

iLEAD Lancaster has two social media platforms for families and friends to access. Our Facebook and Instagram accounts are constantly updated with pictures of our learners and descriptions of the learning process. Please check out our Facebook and Instagram.

Before and After School Care

Child care is available before and after school through Champions. Learn more on Champions’ website. Please contact them regarding fees.
