Arrival & Dismissal Procedures + Required Walker/Valet Form

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Notice: If you do not complete the Walker/Valet Authorization Form, we will assume your learner is going home by valet.

We are excited to welcome you and your child to a new school year at iLEAD Lancaster! Our team has been working hard to prepare a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment where every learner can thrive.

As we begin the year, we want to ensure all families are familiar with our updated arrival and dismissal procedures. These routines help us maintain a safe campus, support smooth transitions, and ensure every learner starts and ends their day with consistency and care. Please review the information below so your child is prepared for the first day.

Morning Arrival Procedures

To ensure a smooth and safe start to the day:

• Morning valet: 8:00–8:30 a.m. at the west entrance

• Walkers: Enter through the small east gate

• Gate closure: Both gates close promptly at 8:30 a.m.

Learners arriving after 8:30 a.m. will be marked tardy, and a parent/guardian must sign them in at the front office. We strongly encourage families to use the morning valet to support a safe and timely arrival.

Afternoon Dismissal Procedures

Dismissal begins at 3:05 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 12:00 p.m. on Fridays and minimum days.

Learners will be dismissed from the playground/classroom space using one of the following:

• Walker

• Valet Pick-Up (back only)

• Champions Program (Champions staff pick up enrolled learners by 3:05 p.m.)

Important Change: Front-of-school pickup is no longer available. Learners who were previously picked up in front must now be walkers or use valet. Walkers will be escorted across Copeland and K-4 (see red pin drop on map below), and all other learners should be picked up through valet. We strongly encourage all families to use valet, as this is now our primary dismissal system.

Front Office Closure

To ensure safe arrival and dismissal:

• Closed 8:00–8:30 a.m.

• Closed 2:30–3:30 p.m.

Required Form

Before the first week of school, all families must complete the Walker/Valet Authorization Form so we can ensure your learner is dismissed safely and according to your preference.
