8th Grade Project Spotlight

The 8th grade special project provides an opportunity for learners to introduce themselves to a new community and engage in the expectations of a new project.

The purpose of this project is for learners to have a clear scope of who they are in the community and who they are as a leader. Learners can be expected to dive deep reflectively about who they are and the various roles they play in the game of life.

Topics will cover personality traits, identifying who they are in the world, the community at large, school community, and how they identify themselves with family and friends. Additionally, they’ll examine how their network and social media influence identity, and how the public uses that medium to identify others.

Presentation of Learning: Friday, September 21st, from 2-3 p.m.; and Monday, September 24th, from 11 a.m. to noon.
