Send Your Caps and Lids for a Mosaic on Campus!

colorful plastic lids

Ms. Tiff, our arts facilitator, is inviting learners to work together to create a large-scale iLEAD Lancaster bottle cap mosaic! To create this beautiful work of art, we need the help of our families and school community!

Please collect clean plastic bottle caps and other hard plastic lids — such as lids from mayonnaise, milk, soda, and vitamins — and bring them to iLEAD Lancaster! Please place your items in a sealed bag or container labeled “For Art” and drop them off or send them in with your learner to give to Ms. Tiff.

In particular, we are looking for plastic caps and lids of all sizes in the colors of the iLEAD Lancaster logo:

  • Yellow
  • Green
  • Blue
  • Orange
  • Black
  • White

These items will be glued or screwed onto wood panels that will then be displayed on campus as beautiful works of art.

Please note that we are not asking you to use more plastic bottles and containers than you already would be using; we’re just asking that you save your caps and lids for our exciting project.

Thank you for all your support and contributions to help make this project a success!
