Dismissal Reminders
As a friendly reminder, our school dismissal is at 3 PM Monday through Thursday and noon on Fridays. Learners will not be released early from class with valet cards. The only way that learners are able to leave early is for the front office team to to check them out with a parent/guardian or person on the emergency card with ID in hand.
It is important for our learners to be in school until dismissal in order to receive instruction happening toward the end of the day.
Our volunteer runners in the front office or your child’s facilitator will be holding all valet cards until dismissal time.
Lastly, when learners are getting texts and calls from families, they will not be dismissed from class unless the IDed parent/guardian or emergency contact has come in to the front office to request them. This must be done before 2:40 PM. During the last 20 minutes before dismissal, the front doors will be closed and parents/guardians will need to wait on the outside of the school, where we will begin to collect valet cards on the table outside.
Please note: Learners will not be released in the last 20 minutes before dismissal unless there is a legitimate emergency. Our front office needs this time to prepare for valet and dismissal of the school. All learners will be dismissed at 3:00 PM.
Learners with a walking pass must show their orange pass to the front office before being let out of the building.
We will need all parties who are waiting for learners to keep a clear path in front of the school for learners to be able to walk out.
We thank you all for your continued support in keeping your learners safe.
