Dear Families,
On Friday, our Innovation Studios learners presented their projects created to demonstrate their fresh ideas to revolutionize education. We are proud of their beautiful work in their first Presentations of Learning of the 2023-24 school year, and we’re inspired by their ideas.
Mid-Fall Break is coming up for our learners October 9-13. Our staff will be participating in professional development during this time. We hope the break offers our learners the chance to step away from the rigors of academics and recharge their creative energies. In the meantime, we’re looking forward to a fantastic Hispanic and LatinX Heritage Spirit Week this Monday through Friday.
We’d like to draw your attention to our brand-new Community Resources page, hosted by our very own social worker and Foster Care and Homeless Liaison Mrs. Kammy Bell. On this page you’ll find Mrs. Kammy’s contact information as well as free resources in our community, including health care, food, events, workshops, and more. To navigate to this page from our website, go to “Resources” in our menu and select “Community Resources.” We’ll also include these resources in our weekly Monday Message and on social media.
If you have any questions for our team, please don’t hesitate to reach out to info@ileadlancaster.org or (661) 722-4287. And be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram to stay connected.
With gratitude,
Nykole Kent
School Director
