Kindergarten Job Faire
Do you have a job that helps others in the community? Is your job interesting and something you would pursue again? Well, jump on board for the first annual Kindergarten Job Faire! It is this Friday, January 22, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.in the iLEAD Village.
iLEAD kindergarteners are learning about their roles within their communities and how they can use their voices and choices to make their world better than when they found it. Everybody remembers learning about community helpers in kindergarten. Not only is this a social studies standard; it is an expected and much-treasured rite of passage. At iLEAD, we are going for deeper learning.
We have some volunteers from the iLEAD community as well as relatives and friends coming to do a show-and-tell of their work. There is no presentation involved, just a willingness to spend some time with young learners and tell them about your world and how you make a difference.
Can you help? Please contact kim.lengning@ileadlancaster.org.
