GoSchool on the Go Again!
GoSchool families were so grateful to join in on the fun at Homeschool Day at the Aquarium of the Pacific. The Aquarium of the Pacific is amazing on a regular day; however, Homeschool Day has so many more opportunities for fun and adventure. The Aquarium has classes just for homeschool children that are not available on regular admission days. The learners have their own classrooms with a touch tank for hands-on exploration of ocean animals and creatures of the deep blue. They have learning activities, crafts and educational videos for even more fun while learning.

GoSchool families had an amazing time while learning about the ocean, its inhabitants, and conservation.

iLEAD Middle School…We Have Lift-off!
Our middle schoolers have embarked on their latest mission (project): “What does it mean to be an explorer?” As part of their mission, each group has chosen a spacecraft to replicate. In math, middle schoolers are learning how to convert between measurements, use ratios, and draw to scale. They will then use their scaled drawing to build a model of their chosen spacecrafts. This part of their mission may sound easy, but making sure that they’ve computed each measurement correctly so that their model is proportional to the actual spacecraft is no simple task! It’s our mission here at iLEAD to apply math to real-life applications. You never know: your future spacecraft engineers may be right in front of you!
