Message to Middle School Families
Dear Middle School Families,
The Middle School facilitators, administrators, and iLEAD Team have been strategizing and working to establish a more effective way to meet the needs of all learners in Middle School. After numerous discussions and work sessions, we are excited to roll out a plan starting last week that benefits our learners!
Part of our plan includes an in-depth program we implemented called MobyMax, an interactive online math and ELA program. You can try it out for free using the following link: http://www.mobymax.com/. We are utilizing small group workshops throughout the day. The workshops will include our MobyMath program, writer’s workshop, wild card station (includes a variety of choices), PBL, and MobyELA.
We would like to invite you to one of the parent meetings at 5 p.m on either of the following dates to discuss the what and why’s of the new changes:
- Tuesday, November 15
- Wednesday, November 16
- Thursday, November 17
If you are not able to attend those dates, please call the school at 661-722-4287 to set up a different time to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
