Dear Families,
We are pleased to announce that, after a comprehensive search and selection process, our new leadership resident has been appointed. Please join us in welcoming Shaana Scott to the role.
Shaana is a familiar face, as she has been a pillar of support for our learners as lead counselor at iLEAD Lancaster for four years. Before joining us, she served as head school counselor at Empower Generations for three years. Shaana earned a master’s degree in educational counseling from the University of La Verne and a bachelor’s degree in sociology from California State University of Bakersfield. Along with her experience and education, she is committed to social-emotional learning, restorative practices, and being an active participant in school activities to support strong bonds with our learners. Shaana approaches her work with enthusiasm and makes a difference in the lives of those around her every day.
We look forward to working with Shaana as she leads with courage, grace, and compassion.
