Academic Counselor Jose Gonzalez Presents on Restorative Practices at ASCA 2024
Our very own Academic Counselor Jose Gonzalez spoke at ASCA (American School Counselor Association) 2024 in Kansas City on Saturday, July 13. Alongside Khanh Ly, Mr. Gonzalez presented on implementing restorative practices, which iLEAD Lancaster embraces to support an inclusive and supportive school environment.
Restorative practices offer an innovative alternative to traditional disciplinary measures, emphasizing positive relationships, inclusive dialogue, accountability, healing and support, collaborative problem-solving, and nurturing a culture of respect. It’s all part of the social-emotional learning we embrace at iLEAD Lancaster!
