iLEAD Lancaster Hosts Glider on Campus Event
As part of our Soaring Aeronautics Project, we hosted our Glider on Campus event on Wednesday, October 25. iLEAD Lancaster 8th graders interacted with pilots around a glider as they moved through four stations and also met pilot guest presenters. After that, all grades had the chance to visit the glider and talk with the pilots!
Special thanks to Edwards Air Force Base, Skylark North Glider Flight School, Soaring Society of America, U.S. Air Force Academy, and iLEAD Student Aerospace Projects for guiding and inspiring our kids!
