Message from the School Counselor

Hello all. We wanted to let all parents/guardians know that this month is National Suicide Prevention month. This message will include our mental health policy as well as our digital mental health brochure, which is also available in the front office in paper form. We are aware that suicide is a very sensitive matter and may cause some discomfort to learners and their families. Below are some helpful flyers and presentations that you are welcome to look through if you want to learn more.

We need your help! We would like to learn more about our learners who may be living in non-traditional homes or in foster care placement. All we ask is that you take a few minutes to complete this anonymous survey and submit it. This will help us determine the needs of our families, as well as possible community resources that may be available to you.

Mrs. Kammy Bell – iLEAD Lancaster School Social Worker

We also would like to reintroduce our weekly slogans.

  • Make it happen Mondays
  • Talk about it Tuesdays
  • Win-it Wednesdays
  • Thoughtful Thursdays
  • Fantastic Fridays

We will talk about it more on Tuesday! (did you see how we did that?)

Stay tuned for more upcoming messages from your counseling team every Monday.

Thanks,
Shaana Scott
