Full STEAM Ahead!
It is that time again, STEAMers! That is right — it is time for iLEAD Lancaster’s annual Full STEAM Ahead event!
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) is in everything we do at iLEAD, and we love to celebrate it! Please come out and join us Friday, May 3rd, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to participate in various activities.
STEAM, according to Education Closet, “is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. The end results are students who take thoughtful risks, engage in experiential learning, persist in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and work through the creative process. These are the innovators, educators, leaders, and learners of the 21st century!”
Also, see what our Kindergarten and 5th grade classrooms have been growing; it’s pretty “fishy.” Check out all of the hard work our learners have been doing in the Makery, get well-acquainted with our Technology Facilitator, Mr. Justin, and so much more!
Enjoy food prepared and sold by our learners. Come enjoy fun for the whole family! Take some pictures and learn new and interesting things. We look forward to seeing you all there.
