Middle Schoolers Discover Dimensions
Some of our middle schoolers did an interactive lesson in which they used Play Doh to learn about three-dimensional shapes and their cross-sections. The learners sketched, modeled, and described the cross-sections formed by a plane passing through three-dimensional figures. They created cubes, rectangular prisms, and rectangular pyramids using Play Doh, sliced the models using parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting lines and then described the two-dimensional figure results from slicing the three-dimensional models.

GoSchoolers Explore Ancient Civilizations
The GoSchool workshops are in full swing! The learners in the Ancient Civilization workshop with Ms. Bree had a fun day researching their civilizations, learning to take notes, and working on their papier-mâché relics. They also had a wonderful mom bring in samples of Aztec food. We cannot wait for their POL to check out their finished projects!
