iLEAD Lancaster Field Trips Before Mid-Fall Break
To start off Mid-Fall Break last week, some of our iLEAD Lancaster learners had a chance to attend the annual Girls Empowerment Conference at East L.A. College.
During this event, 52 girls joined in on special topics of positive body image, self-esteem, women in engineering, as well a resource fair.
After the conference, they enjoyed dinner and a few more spending adventures before the journey home.
As the girls made their journey back home, the boys and a couple girls got a chance to attend a USC game on Family Day at USC. This group got to explore the campus, join in some activities, and watch an amazing win for USC!
Thank you to our wonderful Counseling Team for making this happen, and thank you to the chaperones, who helped out tremendously during both events!
