iLEAD Lancaster 4th Graders Strike Gold at Gold Rush Field Study
The 4th grade iLEAD Lancaster Gold Rush field study on campus was an immersive educational experience that brought history to life for young learners. Our 4th graders recently embarked on a journey back in time to the era of the California Gold Rush, exploring various aspects of life during that period. They engaged in hands-on activities, such as gold panning, learning about the hardships faced by miners, and understanding the economic and social impact of the Gold Rush. Through interactive exhibits and demonstrations, learners gained a deeper appreciation for the historical significance of this event and its lasting legacy on American society. The field study provided an enriching opportunity for learners to connect with the past in a tangible and memorable way, fostering a love for history and a sense of curiosity about the world around them.
